What an excellent beginning to the Asian U22 Boxing Championships in Bangkok!
The event, organized by Asian Boxing in collaboration with World Boxing and the Thailand Boxing Association, has already delivered outstanding performances in
its first days from 367 of the best young boxers representing 25 countries across the Asian region.
I truly enjoyed what I witnessed over the past few days in Thailand and would like to wish all participants continued progress on their journey toward their goals.
I would also like to congratulate Pichai Chunhavajira on his unanimous election as President of Asian Boxing at the inaugural Asian Boxing Congress, which I had the honor to attend in Bangkok. I was glad to personally congratulate President Chunhavajira, as well as the newly elected Vice Presidents, Secretary General, members of the Board of Directors, and Committee Chairpersons. Iโm confident that, by working together with World Boxing, you will take boxing in the region to the next level.
