It was an honor for me to open the second continental championship in Europe under the new governing body, European Boxing — the U15 European Boxing Championships in Montenegro. The Boxing Association of Montenegro has already proven to be an excellent host, setting up a fantastic venue in the city of Budva and providing a worthy stage for the best young boxing talent from across the continent.
We are now at the beginning of a new Olympic cycle as I kept my promise and boxing has been reinstated on the program for LA28. The Olympic Games in the USA might come too soon for some of the athletes competing here, but to all the young boxers who came to Budva, I want to say this: commit yourselves to the years ahead with dedication, discipline, and passion. Listen to your coaches and enjoy every step of the journey.

I want to thank everyone who came to Montenegro from across Europe, showing the true reach and unity of our sport. My sincere gratitude also goes to the Montenegro Boxing Association and its President Alexander Klemenko for their excellent organization and warm hospitality.
May the best boxer win! 🥊
