Unconsciously, you shrug your shoulders, clench your jaw, and retreat into your own bubble. You are there, but you no longer truly ‘feel’ yourself.

When the world outside feels unpredictable, we go on the defensive. We withdraw, but often in the wrong way: we start ‘living in our heads.’ We worry about the future and look at others with suspicion. That costs a huge amount of energy and causes a chronic feeling of unease.
In my practice, De Helende Werking, I help you leave that outside world outside for a while and reconnect with the ground beneath your feet. No complicated theories, just back to basics.

What we do: We go outside. No walls, no screens. Just the rhythm of your steps and the fresh air.
The effect: Walking forces you to be in the 'here and now'. Nature does not judge politics or work pressure; the trees are simply there. That puts things into perspective enormously. While walking, we talk about what you are struggling with, while the movement ensures that you do not get stuck in your own thoughts.
