The Supreme Court will rule on the recovery law for the tax on savings and investments and the bridging levy in box 3 next Thursday and not until the end of August, as the highest tax court previously announced.
The judgment could have major consequences for private savers and investors as well as for politicians in The Hague and the Tax Authorities. It could result in a major financial setback for the new cabinet before it has even taken office. PVV, VVD, NSC and BBB did not take this into account in their main agreement.
